Oregon’s vote-by-mail elections are safe

We are just one month away from ballots arriving in our mailboxes, and Donald Trump is still trying to interfere with our elections.

The president's chaotic trade policies and disastrous war are driving up costs, and his Republican sycophants are terrified of losing their majority in Congress. So, what are they doing? Instead of passing policies to lower costs and end the war, Trump is telling them to rig the election. In fact, a few days ago in Texas, he actually said on national TV, "I'm going to try and cheat like hell."

I will not stand for any kind of cheating, intimidation, or voter suppression from the president or anyone else.

Oregon has run fair, secure, and accessible elections for decades under our vote-by-mail system and we'll keep doing so no matter what Trump says.

Our state has one of the highest voter participation rates in the country because we make it easy, safe, and free – and that's exactly what scares Republicans.
