A needless, immoral war

You deserve better than six months of massive spending on a needless, immoral war.

And costs are set to climb even higher as President Trump pushes for what he calls his "Economic D-Day."

This means higher prices, more tariffs, and new levies on oil, energy, and consumer goods coming from the Middle East and China. It means costs go up for gas and daily expenses while more taxpayer money is used for war.

The war is a vanity project for Donald Trump. He wants to show power, and it doesn't matter to him how much it costs us or how many lives are put at risk.

These billions of dollars could fill budget gaps for SNAP, pay for family and medical leave, or fund affordable childcare and preschool.

We do not need or want another misguided war in the Middle East. And so far, this one is nowhere near a diplomatic or military resolution. I support a peaceful and diplomatic end to this war and to return taxpayer dollars to the things we really need: housing, healthcare, infrastructure, and more.
