Let’s hold polluters accountable

Wildfires, floods, storms, and extreme weather events are increasing in frequency and intensity, causing devastation around the country. Yet, the Trump administration is continuing to gut key climate regulations, most recently the Endangerment Finding.

Trump's EPA claims this will be good for the economy, but the reality is that this foolish repeal will cost us money and set us back decades in the fight against climate change.

We must invest in clean energy, build resilient infrastructure, and reduce carbon emissions. If we don't, we will continue to deal with increasingly frequent and dangerous weather conditions.

Right now, House Republicans are backing big polluters, gutting clean air and water regulations, and letting corporations dodge responsibility for harmful actions. For a better future, we're going to elect a majority that will pass bold laws to reduce carbon emissions and protect our planet.

I'm proud that the Oregon League of Conservation Voters is endorsing this race; they understand that we can't afford to ignore the climate crisis.

This is an uphill fight, but we won't back down.
