Plain abuse of executive power

In another abuse of executive power, Donald Trump placed Washington, D.C. under "federal control."

The president said he was taking control of the Washington, D.C., police department, and he deployed 800 National Guard troops to the city under the guise of cracking down on crime. Addressing local crime is not in his job description, and violent crime in D.C. is at a 30-year low. This is not a matter of safety; it is a distraction and an abuse of power.

If Donald Trump cared about the safety of D.C. residents, he would have mobilized the National Guard on January 6th.

This is all about fear, control, and trying to distract us from his connections with Jeffrey Epstein. But we won't be intimidated. And we certainly won't let up on uncovering Donald Trump's connections with a notorious sex offender.

Thank you for standing with me,
