We have to talk about Medicare

When one unexpected medical bill can upend your life, something has to change.

Our health care system should be providing affordable and accessible care for everyone.

One potential solution has been here all along: Medicare. As we work toward Medicare for All, we can take a step in this direction right now.

Sign the petition and join the movement to lower the Medicare eligibility age to 60 and improve its benefits.

Medicare has been a transformative program for millions of Americans. Let's make health care more accessible and affordable for more of them.

By lowering the eligibility age by a few years, we can benefit the health outcomes of tens of millions more Americans.

Additionally, current law prohibits Medicare from negotiating lower drug prices; it's one of the reasons why prescription drugs cost considerably more here than in other nations. We should end this barrier and use our government's leverage to negotiate lower prices so Medicare enrollees can afford the critical medications they need.

On the road to Medicare for All, lowering the eligibility age and increasing benefits is a key first step.

Sign this to let Congress know we are demanding action right away.
