We’re working hard. So are they.
I want to highlight something that our campaign sent not long ago, because its importance cannot be overstated:
Oregon is getting a sixth congressional district, which means that all the district lines are going to be redrawn. We cannot sit on our hands. We have to be prepared for Suzanne to be in a much tougher, much more competitive campaign in 2022.
Just like our progressive allies have worked hard these last few years to win in tough places, our opponents are working just as hard to regain those seats.
Our ability to pass paid family leave, invest in transformative green infrastructure, and protect reproductive health services could come down to how these new maps are drawn. If we're going to protect our existing majority, and support our allies in new districts, we have to start organizing early.
