Voting is easy in Oregon. But you have to register first.

Oregonians are fortunate to live in a state where we all vote by mail. It's easy, convenient, and safe. And, importantly, there is a paper trail. But vote-by-mail only works if you're registered.

Today is National Voter Registration Day. Please join me in celebrating democracy by making sure you're registered to vote. It takes minutes to register online.

Once you've confirmed your registration, please make sure your friends, colleagues, and family members are registered too.

Voting is patriotic. It makes a difference in our everyday lives, not just today but for years to come. And this November, it's more important than ever.
